Whether it’s your first time working with clay or you’re already an experienced ceramicist, let yourself play—improvise, experiment, and allow the piece to evolve as you go. If a new idea comes to you midway through, find a way to incorporate it—or let it go; maybe the person next to you will want to run with it. I’ll be nearby to share tips and tricks to help make your piece come together more smoothly.
